Buddy and Kimberly Rushing from White Feather Investments were on their 13th Wedding Anniversary in Las Vegas, but they did have some business to do while in Vegas. They were in the process of selling 14 houses at the time and needed to get some docs notarized, so they met up with a mobile notary in a shopping center on the Vegas Strip. That’s when they met Milena Dorsey.
According to Buddy… “normally you don’t pay too much attention to notaries, you just wish they moved faster and can’t wait to be finished signing so you can do something more interesting. But Milena was like a surgeon, not a wasted movement, completely prepared to answer every question I had, and had even corrected several mistakes the escrow office made before she came to meet me!”
What he didn’t know was that Milena, on her own, had built a nationwide notaries business that could find and schedule notaries in any city at any time and to top it off her husband happened to be an Air Force veteran…making Milena and Peyton perfect candidates for his White Feather Network.

Six months later, they are both decided to join the White Feather Accelerator Course.
At first Peyton and Milena had a goal to acquire at least one investment property by the end of the current year, however, they thought that their lack of capital would hold them back. But as the course progressed and they jumped into the assignments they learned about the endless possibilities and strategies on how to take down deals!
They found a market that seemed perfect for their pocket and goals and started researching about it, running numbers, making offers, and finally getting in contract on SEVERAL properties in Mobile, AL…BUT NOW WHAT?
They presented the deals they had with intention to wholesale it to someone in their team since they couldn’t afford it on their own. That’s when Rob Damare (a team member on the same class) expressed his interest about the region and the deals they currently had. He asked what they wanted from it, Milena responded that she wanted to be part of it and Peyton wanted to wholesale it, tough decisions, Rob quickly recognized the opportunity of treating the deals as a business, making both happy and proposed a joint venture. He had previous experience with joint ventures, so his wife Jeanine Damare, an exceptional real estate agent, joined the adventure and together they started working on the deals as a team!
That’s when D2 Ventures was born. The team wanted to give opportunities to all investors in their network to be part of something that had promising returns. They started a capital raise to take down the deals they had already secured, and all the other opportunities being brought to them due to the spectacular team them they built on ground in Mobile, AL.
